Yes. I don't watch it, but a friend alerted me with a simple 4-letter word. It's totally embarrassing for her.
"I can't stand geographical names" she rants. Until she's reminded her daughter is called India.

Thought most would just take the piss. I posted it up as I see her as a bit laughable, what she says is too daft to be taken seriously, or so I thought.

From my limited knowledge she appears to be trying very hard to carve a media niche as the go to person for controversial comments but seems to lack the skill for it.
There is a job there now that Julie Birchill seems quiet but it needs a bit of wit and writing talent. And the energy to keep coming up with new angles.
